Educator and student presentations are an integral part of the learning environment as a way to deliver information. However, typical presentations of the past, such as PowerPoint, have become stale and lacking in the multimedia-rich features that motivate and engage today’s student. Web 2.0 technologies offer alternatives to the typical slide presentations and easily integrate quality images, text, video and music with effects and transitions that appear as professional video montages.
This module provides instruction on how to use Jog the Web, a web-based tool that allows the user to create a guide to a series of web sites. The creator can also make notations along the way. There are more presentation tools to explore on your own. These include web sites to create presentations as well as tools for hosting your presentations online. You can navigate through this module by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of each page.
