When you think of Web 2.0 you may not think about drawing applications, but just as audio and video tools have found new life on the web, so have web based drawing tools. From the large desktop based drawing programs to the paint programs that came with the operating system, there are now online versions that allow users to create their own drawings from any place at any time. Online drawing tools can allow students to be creative with drawing tools and text to illustrate concepts learned. Some online versions even allow students to collaborate on the same canvas at the same time.
Within this module you will learn how to use Sketchcast, a simple online program that allows the user to record a drawing with or without voice and then share it online. There are also more drawing tools that you can explore, some with more options than others. You can navigate through the drawing tools module by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of each page.
